Our BABIES
6 weeks to 24 months
STAFF : CHILD ratio = 1:3
Very young children are learning about the world from the moment they open their eyes, with lots of new sights, sounds and smells too. This sensory exploration is encouraged by providing your child with activities that not only stimulate thier senses but are a lot of fun too!
The baby staff team are knowledgeable in all areas of baby development and are on close hand to advise and support you, They will follow as closely as possible the same routine for your child as you do at home.
As with all of our rooms, the layout is designed with a homely feel where toys and soft furnishings surround the baby at their level.
All aspects of your childs day is recorded on a ‘My Day at Nursery’ sheet which is presented to you when you collect your child.
Our TODDLERS
2 years to 3 years
STAFF : CHILD ratio = 1:4
Within this room, the children are encouraged to learn about the world and themselves through a choice of well planned activities and toys.
Songs and stories are enjoyed on comfy sofas while bright, colourful displays promote curiosity.
The staff within the toddler room understand the huge developmental milestones that occur during this period and are on hand to not only encourage your child but to give them space to gain their independance.
Our PRE-SCHOOLERS
3 to 5 years
STAFF : CHILD ratio = 1:8
The aim of our preschool staff is to nuture each individual child by encouraging them to become self-confident with a growing independence ready for that big step into school. Children are given more responsibility by being taught how to take care of themselves and learning to respect their peers and adults.
Learning to take control of their own hygiene practices, helping to set the table at mealtimes and tidying away after themselves all promote a sense of responsibility and develop a positive self-esteem.
We currently have a computer workstation in both the toddler and preschool rooms.
HOLIDAY CLUB
5 years to 8 years
Holiday Care is provided from 7.30am to 5.50pm, Monday to Friday during all school holidays - excluding Bank Holidays and Christmas Break. Fun and stimulating activities are planned, both within the nursery and outdoors to cater for all ages and abilities.
